Rigging Options

double hook on bottom

This is great for any fishing method not on the bottom. The optional hook band keeps the hook close to the body when working the lure.
double hook on top
Blue fishing lure with a red arrow pointing to the hook on a dark textured background
Great for all fishing methods, especially for bottom jigging.  Minimizes snags and the optional hook band keeps the hook in place to minimize fouling.

This option is ideal for faster trolling the Metal Head.
stinger hook with hook band

The stinger hook moves the hook further back for better hookups on smaller or less aggressive fish.  The optional hook band around the body so all 3 hooks on the treble are out.  Otherwise, you can simply tag one hook in the body.  Both methods will not hinder lure action.

Simply tag one of the hooks into the body and you're ready to fish.
line connection on back ring
Blue and white fishing lure with a dark background
Connecting your mainline to the back ring of the Metal Head is great for slower trolling or a slower cast and retrieve.  It changes the orientation of the lure to swim with the head down (like a lipless crankbait).  The hook can be connected to either the top or the bottom.
